What are the Alcohol and Drug Advisory Centres?
They are a service for local people concerned or affected by any problem associated with the use of alcohol, illegal (Weston only) or prescribed drugs.
Problems associated with alcohol or drug use include:
- Family, medical, legal, financial and personal;
- Accidents at home and on the road;
- Increased risk of crime and violence;
- Addiction;
- HIV/AIDS, Hepatitis B.
